[one thing a person learns after living for millenia is that wonders never cease. their rarity decreases throughout the years, but they still do occur.

case in point: a woman teleporting herself smack dab in the of yggdrasill's throneroom.

it took them all off guard. one moment, kratos had been receiving instruction on what to do regarding lloyd and friends (who, much to yggdrasill's displeasure, had been rescued by the pesky renegades) and then the next, there she was. a strange woman in even stranger dress with an out of place mana signature...

and of course the lucky sap to keep watch over her ended up kratos himself. the reasoning? he was returning to his room, anyway, so why not interrogate her there while doing the work he already planned on doing. more likely, however, was that yggdrasill recognized a walking headache when he saw one and preferred to make his mentor suffer it as minor punishment for failing to take care of lloyd.

such is suffering a traitor endures. ah well. kratos remains as impassive as ever while entering his room. was he just as impassive and silent on the walk there? you betcha.]
