[yeah. he's not really all too concerned with that aspect of things at all. instead, his shoulders are just going to slump as the tension drains from him. tytree's willing to take a step back and give her a little bit of breathing room, but they're not really out of the woods yet.

[not that he did it to help himself, of course. tytree was and is sincerely concerned for her. but she really is the first familiar face he's seen—he couldn't just let that slip by.]

He was abused, before Impey saved him. I think it's harder to remember things other than being hurt-- or at least, it takes longer to get past it.
