I like being surprised.

[of course not, but at least he expected it.]
Then a surprise it'll be...
after
we finish the job.
[which means yes, finding the dog first so they can get a move on.]

Which I'd be happy to start, but... is the dog spending some quality time with Repede?
[ ... Seriously, it's kind of a big dog, it's hard to misplace. ]

Not sure "quality time" is a good term for either of those two being together very long.
[the other dog seems friendly enough, but repede is still pretty territorial, after all.]

All the more reason to look.

Yeah, yeah. I got it. I'll find him so we can get out of here.
[the sooner they get this job done, the better.]

I'll be waiting out front, then.
[ By which she means taking her sweet time slowly swishing her skirt enough to figure out which method is going to be the best manner of slowly driving Yuri crazy during this expedition.

[she'll probably figure out how to drive him crazy in no time, honestly. judith's got a way about her.
in any case, it's not too long before he's back with dog (and repede) in tow.
he's a little worst for the wear, but yuri will carry on, as ever.]
Ready to get going?

Aren't I always?
[ Indeed, she's been raring to go in her own Judith way. ]
... Are
you?
It looks like you had a pretty intimate encounter.

Pretty sure I'd have better memories of an intimate encounter than this.

fun
stories then.

Judy, I'm pretty sure
you're
the only one who would find a fun story in dog-wrangling.
[he's just sayin'.]

I tend to make my own fun stories, Yuri.

[he knows she's not wrong.]
Then what kinda fun story do you have right now?

Two guild members and a dog on an adventure, and it might involve new monsters we've never encountered before.

Judy, I don't think that counts as a story yet.
[but he's sure it will be by the end.]

I think the children will love them.

I think maybe we can keep that one away from the children.
[this does not seem like a good children's story, judith?]

Not the kind of excitement kids should be hearing about, at least.

What I would've liked and what we should be telling are two different things here.

I suppose we can't really tell much until--
