[he's peering down at it.. probably a little too closely.]

[Good thing Kashuu's not the kind of butthead who would lift his ice cream up to smush it against Stahn's nose when he peers too closely... But the question has him peering at it pretty closely himself, lifting the spoon so he can nudge pieces of it around.

The cart attendant is definitely questioning their life choices that led them to this moment, now.]

...Maybe 'cause it looks like a rocky road? I mean, it still looks like dirt to me.

Ohh... that makes a lot of sense!

[that poor cart attendant, honestly. stahn is pretty amazed at kashuu's deductive reasoning, because he honestly would not have even considered that otherwise.]

It's still a pretty weird name, though. How is anyone supposed to know what it is when it's called something like that? [it seems so risky.]

That's a really good point. Like, if people weren't as adventurous as we are, they'd totally skip right over it. Hey! You should consider naming that something different.

[The attendant just politely asks them to make room for other customers...

At least Kashuu will listen, grabbing his two cups and then a handful of spoons for maximum sampling and stepping off to the side.]

So! D'you want to risk the first bite, or are we both gonna brave our own picks first?

Hmm... Maybe we can both try yours at the same time, and then try mine? Or the other way around.

[this way if either flavor is bad, they both suffer together equally.

though stahn has a decent amount of faith in the rocky road now that they can see chocolate and nuts—pretty normal ice cream things. the sesame one... that's more questionable.

it's not like stahn doesn't like sesame, but he's never once considered it for ice cream.]

Hm... Okay, sure. That seems fair.

[And with that he'll mosey to one of the benches near the stand so he can plunk down the ice cream, holding his spoon at the ready and getting a little portion for himself.]

[HONESTLY THOUGH. If Stahn were anyone else, Kashuu would just do a countdown and then leave him to taste it on his own. But he'd feel too guilty doing that here...]

O-kay! Three... two... one - go!

[And he'll actually take a bite. Miraculously, it's about as good as one could expect from a choco-marshmallow-nut combo.]

Mmm! It's really good!

[chocolate isn't really stahn's favorite, but it doesn't change the fact that it's delicious. it definitely doesn't taste like dirt, or rocks, or anything weird.

it's just sweet and delicious.]

They probably should give this stuff a better name, so everyone knows how tasty it is just from hearing what it's called!

But he's distracted enough by his ice cream to not be super gung-ho about going after the poor dude. He's also peering curiously at Stahn's now.]

I wonder if yours will taste like sesame seeds, though. Like, the name doesn't leave a lot up to the imagination, right?

[that's kind of the whole deal with ice cream and all. he's so unsure, maybe he should have picked something a little less questionable?

[He's getting his second spoon ready so as not to contaminate Stahn's ice cream with Kashuu goobers, poised to take... probably a very small little chunk there.]

[he's definitely still unsure here, but what the hell. he'll take a spoonful of about the same size as before, waiting for kashuu to do the same.]

[Getting a little bite to match! ...And then sniffing it just a little, but he can't smell anything particularly off or unpleasant about it.]

—Okay, ready! Let's get this over with.

[IT'S NOT EVEN AN OFFENSIVE DESSERT.]

[and he'll shove the spoon in his mouth, tilting his head to the side before his expression lights up a bit.]

Oh! It's pretty good! [it definitely tastes like sesame, but is still pretty sweet and creamy. it goes pretty well together, stahn thinks.]

[Kashuu takes a little more time to deliberate, but honestly, he finds it pretty good... He's not a fan of overly-sweet things to begin with, so this is a good balance to him.]

It's not too sweet, but it still has a good flavor... I like it! I might like it better than mine, a little.

[stahn seems pretty elated by it, honestly. he takes another scoop, mulling it over as he absorbs some more of that sweet sesame flavor.]

I think I like it a lot better... I don't really eat that much chocolate, though! [stahn is definitely a more savory person. he's such a meat and potatoes kind of guy that it's probably not suprising.]

He tends to go for more savory things too though, so he can agree with that...]

Yeah, it's usually too rich for me to eat too much at once. This- [Pointing to Stahn's ice cream!] -is the kinda thing you can eat a bunch of, you know? ...Which prooobably makes it more dangerous.

[Like, for a person's waistline. As if he, the sword, actually needs to worry about that.]

either way, a normal serving of ice cream is probably all he's up for. a bunch of steamed meat buns? that might be another story, though.]

Maybe that's just me? If I eat too many sweets, I don't feel too good after, though!

[he's a surprisingly healthy eater for the most part, though maybe it's not surprising. growing up on a farm where everything is pretty fresh—and having to do a lot of work, and then being a swordian master where he needs to be active and in shape.

Well! It's probably not a bad thing. I've heard too much sugar can do really crazy things to a human body. Like rot your teeth out?

And I think it can even make you sick? I'm not sure how true that is. I mean like, actually sick-sick, not just sick to your stomach sick. I guess humans can be pretty delicate, though...
